What To Expect

Writng a book is hard no matter what you do, but the Book Writing retreat will make the enitre book writing experience just a little easier. Here is what you can expect when you sign up and send your payment:

Before the retreat, we begin by scheduling a 3-hour book outlining call. During this call, Micheal Drew will guide you step-by-step in creating the outline of your book. While most will complete their book outline during this first call, we will schedule additional calls, if needed. During this step, Micheal will also work with you to select a title and subtitle for your book.

Once your book outline is complete, you will schedule a brief call with Micheal and our Art Director to discuss your book cover design. After 1-3 rounds of revisions, we will finalize your book cover.

Next, you will attend the Retreat, where Michael Drew and his team will work with you for 30 days to write your book. You will participate in group classes and activities designed to support your book writing and promotion efforts.

Return home and send your finished rough manuscript to our editing team.

Our editing team will work with you to ensure your book is the proper length and provide feedback that will improve the flow and readability of your book. Most books require 1-3 rounds of editing revisions and one final round of proofing until the final manuscript is ready for the next phase.

Once your manuscript is finalized, then we begin the layout and design of the interior of your print book. We also begin to lay out the e-book version of your book. This process also takes 1-3 rounds of revisions, based on your feedback.

You approve the final version of your print book, and your book is now ready for printing.

Write Your Chapter: You’ll begin by writing a chapter of 2,000 to 6,000 words. This could be a chapter in the book you are writing or you can write a separate stand-alone chapter just for the multi-author book
You Promote Through Your Platform: As a contributor, you're expected to actively promote your work through your platforms during the campaign month. This includes leveraging your social media, email lists, and other channels to spread the word about your book and chapter.
Collaborative Promotion Opportunities: Alongside your efforts, you'll have opportunities to participate in our coordinated promotional campaigns. These campaigns are designed to maximize visibility and reach, giving your work the exposure it deserves.
